This is part one of my MPC series. After doing the MicroKorg I thought it only acceptable to blend the culture of hip hip producers with the Nike Dunk (nothing new!). The MPC is a staple of hip hop producers in and out of the industry and its something I am fond of. I do not currently own one now since going to all software based production but I will pick one up eventually. I have used many different MPC’s and love the feel and sampling sound they have. Here are two dunks based on the most common MPC2000XL and the MPC 2000 SE1. They aren’t the best dunks I’ve done but it’s fun to get ideas and run with them.
